Hi, my printer is printing blank pages. I changed the black ink cartridge, but that didn't solve the issue. Originally this didn't show up, but it now tells me that there's a problem with the tri-color cartridge. It had ink on the electrical strip, so I cleaned that, but it's still giving me the tri-color cartidge error. I should note that there's also ink inside the printer, on the surface that touches the tri-color cartridge, but I don't know how to clean that becuase it moves off to the side when I turn off the machine. I don't want to clean it with water when it's on. 

 

How do I solve this issue?

If you have already performed the steps from the document Fixing Print Quality Problems for the HP Deskjet 3050A (J611) All-in-One Printer Series and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

Hi,

I went through the items on this list. I also cleaned the piece that touches the color cartridge inside the printer and removed the color cartridge, since it was leaking. Now the driver software says "filter failed" when I try to print. I uninstalled and reinstalled the driver with the latest version, but that didn't help. What do I do?
