Hi @Ashoppingbird,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Printing blank pages can be frustrating, but there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue.
- Check ink or toner levels: Ensure that your ink or toner cartridges have sufficient ink or toner. If any of them are low or empty, replace them.
- Run a printer cleaning cycle: Most printers have a maintenance or cleaning cycle that can be run to clear any clogged nozzles or print heads. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to run a cleaning cycle.
- Check print settings: Make sure that you haven't accidentally selected "blank pages" or a similar option in your print settings. Also, check that you're printing the correct document and that it contains content.
- Inspect print heads: If your printer has removable print heads, check them for any clogs or debris. Clean them according to the HP instructions if necessary.
- Align print heads: Some printers have an alignment process that ensures the print heads are correctly aligned with the paper. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to align the print heads.
- Update printer drivers: Make sure that you have the latest drivers installed for your printer. You can usually download them from the HP website.
- Restart printer and computer: Sometimes, simply restarting both your printer and computer can resolve printing issues.
By following these steps, you should be able to troubleshoot and hopefully resolve the issue of your HP OfficeJet 5255 printing blank pages.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
