After purchasing and replacing a total of 2 yellow cartridges, the Printer still gives me the same message: "There is a problem with the supply system. Try replacing the affected cartridge with a different non-empty cartridge."
Since I doubt HP is now selling empty print cartridges, I must assume the printer is not able to identify a new cartridge as "full". Anyone have an idea where I can start, to fix the problem? I love this printer. It has been the best printer I have ever owned.
I either have a printer cartridge problem; HP has switched printer cartridges; or, the latest and greatest Microsoft update has "deep-6-ed" my printer. Any thoughts or suggestions greatly appreciated.
I live on a small island in the far southern Caribbean. There is NO HP printer repairman here, that I know of...
Thanks.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Let's try to reset the Printer here:
Reset the product
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
- Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
- Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.
Also, try connecting the Printer to a different wall outlet directly.
Also, try a firmware update: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02919168
