I have a HP wireless printer with no previous problems when changing cartridges. I have new color and B &W cartridges and I keep getting the message there is a problem with a cartridge but it doesn’t tell me which one. I’ve replaced both of them again and I’m still getting that message. I have wiped the cartridge with the lint free rag with distilled water and waited 10 minutes and reinstalled the cartridges but I still get the message. I also unplugged the printer and plugged directly into the wall. Nothing I do seems to help.

Hi@Barbara1233,
Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!
I see you are experiencing cartridge issues with the HP Printer.
I have a few recommendations
- One or more cartridges appear to be damaged. Remove them and replace with new cartridges.” Most commonly “Cartridge Problem” means that your HP printer simply cannot recognize the color or black ink cartridges.
- Turn off the power and unplug the printer from the outlet and let it sit for 10 or so minutes. Plug it back in and re-insert the cartridge. Turn the power back on and this should work and your new cartridge should work!
- If the issue persist then let me know the model of the printer.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
