Hello after filling tanks with ink..still screen showing fill tank with ink..

It sounds like your printer isn't recognizing that the ink tanks have been refilled, which can happen due to sensor issues, air bubbles in the ink system, or a firmware glitch

 

Here are some steps to resolve this:

1. Reset the Printer

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it for 60 seconds.
  • Plug it back in and turn it on.
  • Check if the error disappears.

2. Perform a Printhead Cleaning

  • On the printer’s control panel, go to SetupPrinter MaintenanceClean Printhead.
  • This helps remove air bubbles that might be blocking ink flow.

3. Check Ink Tank Sensors

  • If your printer has transparent ink tanks, verify that the ink levels are visible.
  • If the ink sensor is stuck, gently tilt the printer to help ink settle properly.

4. Update Printer Firmware

  • Install the latest firmware update from HP’s official page.
  • Firmware updates often resolve ink detection issues.
