Hi. We have been using our Deskjet to print designs ready to be used for a thermal Copier for a few years now. We have been having trouble since about a year ago with the transfer coming out clearly. Initially we thought it was the thermal printer and purchased a new thermal copier but seem to have the same problem.

Recently I have been wondering if the ink cartridges have been changed at all and whether this could be the cause?

Hope somebody can help with this frustrating problem.

@LisaA77, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

To assist you better, do you have print quality issues with the HP Deskjet printer?

What type of paper are you using to print?

Have you tried printing on regular plain paper and check?

Try making a standalone copy and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.
