Hi @DaveRosso,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP OfficeJet Pro 8620 is not printing, try the following troubleshooting steps.
Check Printer Status:
- Ensure the printer is powered on and connected to the network (WiFi or wired).
- Look for any error messages or blinking lights on the printer display.
Check for Paper Jams:
- Open the paper tray and check for any paper jams. If you find any, gently remove the jammed paper.
Check Ink Levels:
- Ensure that the ink cartridges are installed correctly and have enough ink. Sometimes, even if the ink cartridge appears full, it may not be recognized properly. Try removing and reinserting the cartridges.
Restart Printer and Devices:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it for 30 seconds, then plug it back in and power it on.
- Restart the computer or device you're printing from.
Check Print Queue:
- On your computer, go to the "Devices and Printers" section (on Windows) or "Printers & Scanners" on macOS, find your printer, and check the print queue for any stuck print jobs. Clear the queue if necessary.
Update or Reinstall Printer Driver:
- Outdated or corrupt drivers can prevent printing. Update or reinstall the printer drivers from the HP website or using the HP Smart app.
Run Printer Troubleshooter (Windows):
- If you're using a Windows PC, you can run the built-in troubleshooter. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Printer.
Perform a Printer Reset:
- If nothing else works, you may need to reset the printer to its factory settings. This can often resolve deep configuration issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
