I have a full ink cartridge and have reset, clean and done all the diagnostic to fix the issue. But my printer continues to be unable to print black ink. I can print color but not black, this has repeatedly happened and even got a new ink cartridge via instant ink but that has not solved the issue.

Welcome to the HP support community.
I understand you're experiencing an issue with your HP device, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm here to help you today.
It sounds like you're having a persistent issue with your HP DeskJet 2755e where it won’t print black ink despite having a full cartridge. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the problem:
Check Ink Cartridge Installation: Make sure the black ink cartridge is installed correctly. Remove it and reinsert it, ensuring it clicks into place.
Clean the Printhead: Sometimes, the printhead can get clogged. Use the printer’s built-in cleaning feature:
- Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners.
- Select your printer and choose Manage.
- Look for Printer Properties or Maintenance options and find the printhead cleaning option. Run it a couple of times.
Perform a Test Print: After cleaning, try printing a test page to see if the issue persists.
Check for Software Issues: Ensure you have the latest drivers installed. You can download the latest drivers from the HP Support website.
Print in Draft Mode: Sometimes, printing in draft mode can bypass some issues. Try setting the print quality to draft in your print settings and see if it prints.
Run HP Print and Scan Doctor: This free tool can help diagnose and fix printing issues. You can download it from the HP website. Follow the prompts to see if it identifies any problems.
Inspect for Air Bubbles: If the cartridge is new, sometimes air bubbles can block ink flow. Remove the cartridge, gently shake it side to side (not up and down), and then reinstall it.
Try a Different Black Cartridge: If possible, test with another black cartridge. Sometimes, even new cartridges can be defective.
Reset the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it for a few minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on.
I hope this helps! Keep me posted.
