Hi @Cat1219,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP DeskJet 2755e All-In-One Printer is not working after changing the ink cartridges, there could be several reasons for this issue. Here are some steps to troubleshoot the problem.

  • Check for Correct Installation: Ensure that you have installed the new ink cartridges correctly. Open the printer cover and make sure the cartridges are securely snapped into place. Sometimes, they may not be inserted properly, causing a printing error.
  • Remove Protective Tape: Many ink cartridges come with a protective tape or seal that needs to be removed before installation. Make sure you have removed any tape or seals from the new cartridges.
  • Check Ink Levels: Verify that the new ink cartridges have sufficient ink. You can do this through your printer's software or by checking the printer's display panel if it has one.
  • Restart the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for about 60 seconds. Then, plug it back in and turn it on. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve printer issues.
  • Update Printer Drivers: Outdated or incompatible printer drivers can cause problems. Visit the HP website and make sure you have the latest printer drivers and software installed for your operating system.
  • Run Printer Diagnostics: Many printers, including HP models, have built-in diagnostic tools that can help identify and resolve issues. Check your printer's manual or the HP website for instructions on running diagnostics.
  • Clean Print Heads: If the printer hasn't been used for a while or if there's a blockage in the print heads, it can result in printing problems. Most printers have a utility for cleaning print heads in their software.
  • Check for Error Messages: Look for any error messages on the printer's display panel or on your computer screen. These messages can provide clues about the specific problem.
  • Paper Jam Check: Ensure that there are no paper jams or obstructions in the paper path. Even a small piece of torn paper can disrupt printing.
  • Reset the Printer: Sometimes, a printer may benefit from a factory reset to clear any internal errors. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to perform a reset.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
