L7680 All-in-one
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My L7680 has an issue with the newly replaced HP branded printerheads.

I followed all the advice here: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printers-Archive-Read-Only/L7680-How-to-bypass-the-print-head-error-me...  In fact it was powered-down for more than a week.  I did wonder about the advice to remove the ink CARTRIDGES (which is what I did) when the problem is with the printHEADS.  IT had no effect on the observed problem/ error message.

All I get is an error message, which locks the menu AND ALL BUTTONS (pressing the Help, Back, and OK buttons, or any other button, has no effect) and I cannot bypass or access any other part of the menu.  The error message reads:  "Printhead(s) Problem:  The following printhead(s) has a problem: black/yellow (B/Y) magenta/cyan (M/C)"

The odd thing is that the first time I installed the new printheads the printer seemed to work, and printed a test page, so it worked one single time.  I turned the printer off because I didn't need it, but when I started the printer again a week later all I got was the above error message, and I have been stuck with this problem ever since.

Please can anyone help?

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue.  If you have already performed the steps from the document Print head Errors: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04100778 and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure. Please reach out to HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link:  www.hp.com/contacthp/

Hope this helps!
