Product: HP ENVY 5660 e-All-in-One Printer
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.7 Lion

Hi, I have just started trying to use my printer which hasn't been used for at least 2 years.  The supply levels show 3/4 full, and it sounds like it is printing, but I am getting blank pages.  I am wondering if the ink dries out.  I would hate to buy new cartridges and have the same problem.  I am printing directly from my computer to the printer which I did successfully with my last HP printer. Any help would be appreciated.

the ink dried because of too long a period being unused, replace ink cartridges with fresh ones.

Thank you. I thought that might be the case. But do you think the ink may have also clogged the printer heads (not sure if that’s what it’s called).?  I did clean them as directed but don’t want to spend money on new cartridges if that is a possibility.

The printhead is on the ink cartridge, when you replace the cartridge you replace the printhead too.
