HP DeskJet 2755e All-in-One Printer

My printer was not printing any of the documents I was sending to print. I Tried different files and non worked. It appeared to be printed, but only blank papers came out. I did not get a low ink message or notice but my black ink was on the lower end. I tried turning it off and on and reconnecting it. I replaced the ink cartridge but now I cant use it because I no longer have InstantInk but I did at one point. How can I use this cartridge without subscribing again?

It sounds like you're in a tricky situation with your HP DeskJet 2755e and the Instant Ink service.

 

HP Instant Ink cartridges are programmed to work only while you have an active Instant Ink subscription.

If your subscription has ended, the printer won't recognise those cartridges, even if they have ink left.

 

Here’s how you can get your printer working again:

 

1. Purchase Standard HP Ink Cartridges:

You will need to replace the Instant Ink cartridges with regular HP cartridges.

These can be purchased at electronics stores, office supply stores, or online (make sure to get cartridges compatible with the DeskJet 2755e, such as HP 67 or HP 67XL).

Once installed, your printer should recognise these cartridges without requiring an Instant Ink subscription.

 

2. Consider reenrolling in instant ink services (optional):

If you want to use the Instant Ink cartridge you’ve already purchased, you would need to reactivate your Instant Ink subscription. Once active, the cartridge should work again.
