How to resolve this message displaying on the printer screen: 'Cartridge cannot be used until printer is enrolled in HP Instant Ink' .

Welcome to HP Support Community! 

 

Let's remove and add web services:

 

To remove Web Services using the printer control panel 1. From the top of the screen, touch or swipe down the tab to open the Dashboard, touch ( HP ePrint ), and then touch (Web Services Settings). 2. Touch Remove Web Services

 

To set up Web Services using the printer control panel 1. From the top of the screen, touch or swipe down the tab to open the Dashboard, and then touch ( Setup ). 2. Touch Web Services Setup . 3. Touch Accept to accept the Web Services terms of use and enable Web Services. 4. On the screen that appears, touch OK to allow the printer to automatically check for product updates.

 

NOTE: If prompted for proxy settings and if your network uses proxy settings, follow the onscreen instructions to set up a proxy server. If you do not have the proxy details, contact your network administrator or the person who set up the network.

 

5. If the Printer Update Options screen is displayed, select Install Automatically (Recommended) or Alert When Available. 6. When the printer is connected to the server, the printer prints an information page. Follow the instructions on the information page to finish the setup.

Hello HP Employee,

 

First, thank you so much for responding to my issue. I was able to locate the "Remove Web Services" by selecting and

1. Clicking on the Setting wheel

2. Scroll  down to" Web Services Setup" option opens the

3. HP ePrint field ( what option to select, Yes or III ?). Just below this option, I have the option to

4. Select "Remove Web Services". A message displays, " by selecting this options, will prevent other services from operating.

 

Please advise if I am on the right track.......thank you so much!

I follow all the steps you provided, the printer system completed updates and the following message still appears and will not allow printing :   'Cartridge cannot be used until printer is enrolled in HP Instant Ink' .

Let's reset the network settings on the Printer: 1. From the printer control panel, touch or swipe down the tab at the top of the screen to open the Dashboard, and then touch ( Setup ). 2. Touch Network Setup. 3. Touch Restore Network Settings. A message appears stating that the network defaults will be restored. 4. Touch Yes.

 

Once done, please connect the Printer to the Wi-Fi.

Hello! I completed the sets to reset the system I turned the system off after the restoration process...............the printing option is not available and the message continues to appear. Please advise if there are any additional solutions.
