Hi @Miracle_Ododa ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for your reply

I understand there may be a couple of issues with your HP ENVY 6000 Series printer—one related to the cartridge and another related to connectivity.

Cartridge Issue (Blinking Lights):

  • The blinking cartridge light typically indicates a problem with the ink cartridge, such as:
    • The cartridge isn't properly seated in its slot.
    • The cartridge is incompatible or faulty.
    • There could be protective tape or packaging still on the new ink cartridge.
  • Remove and Reseat the Cartridge: Open the ink cartridge access door, remove the pink (magenta) cartridge, and carefully reinsert it. Make sure it clicks into place.
  • Check for Packaging: Ensure you’ve removed any plastic tape or packaging from the cartridge.
  • Check Compatibility: Make sure you are using the correct ink for your HP ENVY 6000 series printer (HP 67 or 67XL cartridges).
  • Reset the Printer: Unplug the printer, wait 60 seconds, and plug it back in. This can sometimes reset the cartridge error.

Connection Issue:

  • If you cannot connect to the printer, it could be due to several reasons:
    • WiFi connectivity issues between your iOS device and the printer.
    • The printer may need to be reconnected to the network.
  • Reconnect to WiFi: On the printer’s control panel, press and hold the Wireless button for 5 seconds until the light starts blinking. Then, on your iOS device, open the HP Smart app and follow the steps to reconnect the printer to your WiFi.
  • Restart Network Devices: Restart your WiFi router and iOS device to clear any temporary connectivity issues.
  • Reset Printer Network Settings: If you’re still having trouble connecting, you can reset the printer’s network settings by pressing and holding the Wireless and Cancel buttons together for 5 seconds.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
