My black cartridge appears to be empty I had poor print quality and after several cleans I'm getting blank pages. I've got a new cartridge but can I just replace the empty cartridge without affecting my instant ink subscription when the app says the cartridge has ink?

Yes, you may replace the ink cartridge to resume printing. As the issue is related to Instant ink cartridges, I need more information to help you out.
