I have the HBNV photo 7855. It wasn’t printing so I bought new ink print cartridges its still not printing (only blank pages). I’ve done all the troubleshooting of disconnecting the power cleaning, the printer cartridges 3x  and tried to copy instead of print and nothing works

It’s frustrating when a printer refuses to cooperate, especially after replacing the ink cartridges. Since you’ve already tried cleaning and resetting, let’s go deeper into troubleshooting.

Steps to Fix Blank Page Printing:

Check Ink Levels & Cartridge Seating

  • Open HP Smart or your printer’s control panel to verify ink levels.
  • Remove and reinsert the cartridges, ensuring they click into place.

Run a Printhead Cleaning Cycle

  • On the printer’s touchscreen, go to Setup > Printer Maintenance > Clean Printhead.
  • Run the cleaning process twice to clear any clogs.

Perform a Hard Reset

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from power.
  • Wait 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.

Update the firmware on an HP printer:

  • HP regularly releases new firmware versions for printer enhancements, app updates, or issue fixes. Update the firmware regularly to get the most out of your printer.

Try a Different Print Mode

  • Print a diagnostic page from the printer’s settings.
  • If the diagnostic page is blank, the issue may be with the printhead.
