My CP2025 is printing a pink color all over every page I print. Everything is printed correctly - including being in the correct color, etc. It just looks like there is a cloud of pink dust that the page ran through and dusted the entire page. Is this a cleaning issue? How does one go about cleaning it? Any other ideas/solutions?

Hi @Don_Gxxx,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The issue you're describing with your HP CP2025 printer printing a pink color all over every page could be due to several reasons.
- Toner Cartridge Issue: Sometimes, toner cartridges can leak or develop issues that cause them to spread toner unevenly on the page. Ensure that the toner cartridges are properly seated and that there are no leaks or spills inside the printer.
- Fuser Unit Problem: The fuser unit is responsible for bonding the toner to the paper. If it's damaged or worn out, it might cause toner to smear or spread across the page incorrectly.
- Transfer Belt or Roller: The transfer belt or roller might be dirty or defective, causing improper transfer of toner to the paper.
Here are some steps you can take to diagnose and potentially fix the issue:
- Inspect Toner Cartridges: Remove each toner cartridge and inspect them for leaks or spills. Clean any excess toner carefully using a lint-free cloth. Be sure to handle toner cartridges carefully to avoid getting toner on yourself or your surroundings.
- Check the Fuser Unit: Look for any signs of damage or wear on the fuser unit. If possible, run a cleaning page through the printer (many HP printers have a built-in function for this) to clean the fuser unit and rollers.
- Clean the Transfer Belt or Roller: If applicable, clean the transfer belt or roller using a soft cloth or sponge dampened with water. Be gentle to avoid damaging these components.
- Run Printer Maintenance Functions: Use the printer's maintenance functions to clean the printer internally. This can often resolve issues caused by excess toner or debris.
- Replace Consumables if Necessary: If cleaning doesn't resolve the issue, consider replacing the toner cartridges or other consumables that may be causing the problem.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
