Printing half of the words Hp Deskjet 2652

Hello! I got this printer from my sister in law months ago and I’m finally using it but whenever I try to print out a page it’s only printing out half of the words and if I use the color ink option it doesn’t print out the right color. I have a HP DeskJet 2652 printer

I see you are experiencing printing issues with the HP DeskJet 2600 Printer.

The quality of a printed document or photo is not as expected. This link help with streaked or faded printouts, color or black ink not printing, documents with blurred or fuzzy text, ink streaks or smears, and other print quality problems.

The issue appears to be an electrical connection between the printer and ink cartridge. Try printing a test page as shown below. Is the large black stripe printing only 1/4 or 1/2 of the height of the color bars? If so cleaning the printer and cartridge contacts as shown in the document here may help resolve the issue.

There are several main reasons it can occur: Problem with the print spooler (on Windows PCs) Overload of the GPU on later model Macs. Dodgy USB cord.
