Hi @testwer,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your HP DeskJet 2624 All-in-One printer is automatically printing Wireless Setup Pages every 1–2 hours. Let’s go through a few steps to check what could be causing this.

Check Wi-Fi connection stability
Make sure the printer is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network.
Frequent network drops can cause the printer to re-enter setup mode and print setup pages.

Restart the printer and router
Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
Restart your Wi-Fi router, then power the printer back on after 1–2 minutes.

Cancel Wi-Fi setup mode
On the printer, press and hold the Cancel (X) and Wireless buttons together for 5 seconds.
This stops the printer from repeatedly entering wireless setup mode.

Reconnect the printer using HP Smart
Open the HP Smart app and remove the existing printer setup.
Add the printer again and complete the wireless setup fully.

Disable Wi-Fi Direct (if not needed)
Open HP Smart > Printer Settings > Advanced Settings.
Turn off Wi-Fi Direct to prevent unnecessary wireless status changes.

Update printer firmware
Check for firmware updates using the HP Smart app.
Firmware updates help fix repeated configuration and setup-related printing issues.

Check for stuck print jobs
Open the print queue on your computer or mobile device.
Cancel any pending or repeated jobs that may be triggering the setup page prints.

Restore printer network settings (last step)
Press and hold the Cancel (X) and Black Color buttons together for 5 seconds.
This resets the network settings and allows a clean wireless setup.

I hope this helps.
