Hi @Lou007,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are facing an issue with your HP DeskJet 2723 printing blank pages, here are some troubleshooting steps that may help resolve the issue:
1. Check Ink Levels
- Open the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device and check the ink levels. If any cartridges are low or empty, replace them with genuine HP cartridges.
2. Clean the Printhead
- In the HP Smart app, locate the “Printer Maintenance” or “Clean Printhead” option. Run the cleaning cycle to ensure that the printhead nozzles aren’t clogged. You may need to run this several times to see improvement.
3. Align the Printer
- Go to the printer settings in the HP Smart app and look for the “Align Printer” option. This process can help improve print quality if alignment is off.
4. Verify Paper and Printer Settings
- Ensure that the paper is loaded correctly in the tray.
- In the print settings, confirm that the correct paper size and type are selected.
5. Perform a Power Reset
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for about a minute, then plug it back in and turn it on.
6. Reinstall the Printer Driver
- Uninstall the printer from your computer, then go to HP’s support site to download and install the latest drivers for your printer model.
