Welcome to the HP Community Forum.

If you have not done so, do check that the printer is able to "do its best work".

Diagnostics / Testing

Black or Color Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues

What if >> The printer diagnostics all pass, the test print is correct, the ink supply for every cartridge is checked, fill status is adequate, and each cartridge is working as needed -- and the print output still looks wrong?

If tests pass and all else fails to produce the results you want,

Try / Consider

  • Make sure the printer is plugged into a standard, checked, wall outlet as opposed to a surge protector
  • Print using different paper
  • Print using a different printer
  • Print using the printer and paper you have -- Adjust the settings in the software to correct the color and saturation levels.
