Hi,

I have been having problem with my laser jet printer - printing on normal paper is fine with no problems, but with sticker /label sheets the printing turns out like the photo.

I've recently replaced my black cartridge and the other colour cartridge are all at least have 40% left.

Please advise. Could it be my printer is faulty? I had the printer for a few years now. IMG_7340.JPG Thank you.

What you are seeing is known as ghosting and could be caused either by a bad fuser or incorrect settings. It is vitally important when printing labels that you set the paper type on the printer and through the driver for label. Doing this adjusts the operation of the printer to slow it down and ensure it bonds the toner properly to the labels. Typically labels are much heavier media than standard paper and require more heat to bond properly. If you are seeing no print issues with standard paper this is likely what you are dealing with.
