officejet pro 8025e
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

We just bought an Officejet Pro 8025e Jan 27th and it has had problems randomly printing pages way too light. It happens multiple times every day in our office. I called tech support and got a loud phone room in India. The guy told me "if the problem happens again give us a call." He said they wouldn't replace the printer because it was the first time I'm calling about the issue. I am very busy and don't have time to sit on hold for an hour every time the printer fails. I expected a replacement but instead I got blown off. I'm really just venting here. I'll never buy another HP printer again if this is the kind of "support" they have.

We finally got it sorted out after the printer started failing again. We called a second time, waited on hold for another half hour and the rep processed a refund. This experience was not the greatest from HP, but at least they resolved it eventually.

@SwartzTrailers, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I see that the print quality is not satisfactory. Apologies for the inconvenience caused. The issue can be resolved, if not HP can always replace the printer for you under warranty if it is a hardware issue.

Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - Black Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues

Check the ink levels, clean the printhead and print a test page to check the result.

Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.
