I have the Office Jet Pro 7740 series I have bought ink cartridges several times every time I put them in the printer it tell me that new unused cartridges must be used, it won't perform a clean on the printer heads or anything. Please help I paid too much money for this machine not to be working.

I see you are experiencing printing issues with the HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 Wide Format All-In-One Printer. I apologize for the Inconvenience.
I have a few recommendations
- Remove the ink cartridges to clean the ink cartridge and printhead contacts, and then reinstall the ink cartridges into the printer.
- Try with a different set of cartridge and check if it works.
- Try updating the printer firmware to the latest version and check if it helps.
- If issue still persists then have to perform a reset on the Printer.
