Hi @Jbre,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP printer is producing completely black sheets even after installing new toner cartridges, it could be due to several reasons. Here are some troubleshooting steps that you can follow.

  • Check the toner cartridges: Make sure that the toner cartridges you installed are compatible with your printer and are installed correctly. Check if they are genuine HP cartridges or not. Also, verify that the protective tape has been removed from the cartridge.
  • Clean the printer: Dust and debris can accumulate on the printer's internal parts, causing printing issues. Clean the printer thoroughly, including the paper tray, rollers, and any other accessible parts.
  • Check the printer settings: Ensure that the printer settings are correct. Make sure that the correct paper size and type are selected. Check the print quality settings and make sure they are not set too low.
  • Update the printer driver: An outdated or corrupted printer driver can cause printing issues. Check for the latest driver updates from the HP website and install them.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
