My brand new black ink cartridge is not printing fully. I have run the "clean printhead" and "clean smear" features. I tried to run the "align printer" feature, but the black ink didn't prink, so the scan couldn't identify the page. Anything else I can try? TIA!

I see that the printer is not printing in black. I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve this issue by performing the necessary troubleshooting steps.

 

Make sure you have tried all the steps mentioned in this document - No black ink, wrong colors, other print quality issues

Use the old/alternate black ink cartridge and check if that works to conclude the issue.
