@Jan1003, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds frustrating to deal with that error, especially after replacing the cartridge. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the "Problem with the Supply system" error:

Check Cartridge Installation:

  • Remove and Reinstall Cartridge: Open the printer’s cartridge access door, remove the new cartridge, and inspect it for any protective tape or packaging that might not have been removed. Reinstall the cartridge firmly and correctly into its slot.
  • Ensure Proper Alignment: Make sure the cartridge is seated properly and clicks into place. A misaligned cartridge can trigger errors.

Inspect the Cartridge and Printer Contacts:

  • Clean Cartridge Contacts: Gently wipe the metal contacts on the cartridge with a lint-free cloth. Avoid touching the ink nozzles or using any liquids.
  • Check Printer Contacts: Inspect the cartridge slot inside the printer for any dirt or obstruction. Clean the contacts gently if needed.

Reset the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source. Wait for about 60 seconds before plugging it back in and turning it on. This can sometimes reset the error message.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Ensure your printer's firmware is up to date. You can usually find firmware updates on the HP website

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
