Already installed a ink cartridge to the printer. Installed two different cartridges for the yellow ink and the system give me the same error message that the ink its not compatible. The printer give a message that the installed ink is HP 852XL but the ink support is 852 or 852XL. I bought the same ink multiple times and replaced the other colors but the only one with this message is the yellow one. For this situation I bought additional ink set and install a new one and the message is the same for the new original ink cartrige, I need to print and the printer it is not functional for this situation.

Hi @Antojito,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds frustrating to deal with repeated errors about the ink cartridge compatibility, especially when you have made sure to use the correct type. Here’s a step-by-step approach to help resolve the issue with your printer:
Check Cartridge Compatibility: Double-check the printer’s manual or the HP website to confirm that the cartridge model (HP 852XL in your case) is indeed compatible with your printer model.
Inspect the Cartridge and Printer Contacts: Sometimes, issues arise due to dirty or damaged contacts on the cartridge or in the cartridge slot in the printer. Carefully remove the yellow cartridge and inspect both the cartridge and the slot in the printer for any dirt, debris, or damage. Clean the metal contacts gently with a dry, lint-free cloth.
Reset the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it for about a minute, and then plug it back in. This can reset the system and may clear any error messages.
Update Printer Firmware: Check if there are any updates available for your printer’s firmware. Hp often release updates to fix bugs or compatibility issues. You can usually find these options in the printer’s settings menu or on the HP website.
Reinstall the Cartridge: Reinsert the yellow cartridge, making sure it’s properly and firmly installed. Sometimes reseating the cartridge can solve the problem.
Try Another New Cartridge: Although you've already tried this, errors can occasionally be due to a defective batch of cartridges. If possible, try a yellow cartridge from a different batch or purchase one from a different retailer.
Check for Error Codes: Sometimes the error message or code on the printer or on your computer screen can provide additional clues. Look up this code in the printer’s manual or on the HP support website for specific troubleshooting related to that error.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
