I recently started printing in color on photo and adhesive paper using my HP Ink Tank Wireless 415. I’ve had this printer for several years and never encountered major issues.
This time, a problem appeared on the printer's display: a small black square kept blinking, along with the exclamation mark inside the number 0 and the orange light below the display.
After reviewing the manuals, I found out that the black square indicates an issue with the tri-color printhead. So, I decided to remove and clean it before reinstalling it, but unfortunately, that didn’t solve the problem.
I’m attaching a photo of what appears in the HP software for reference:
I concluded that the tri-color printhead is likely damaged.
I checked the warranty status using my serial and product numbers, but the warranty has already expired.
This is the original HP printhead I found, which I believe might be the replacement I need:

In conclusion, my questions are:
- Is the printhead I found the correct one?
- Would replacing it solve the problem?
- Could there be other issues, or is this the most likely cause?
- Could the printhead failure be related to the type of paper I started using?
- What else should I consider?
Thank you in advance.
