Hi @Pavao6,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like the cartridge might have become misaligned or jammed during the refill process. Here are some suggestions to fix this issue.
- Turn off the printer: Power it off and unplug it from the wall. Wait a few minutes to allow any internal components to settle.
- Check for any visible obstructions: Open the printer’s access door and carefully inspect the area around the toner cartridge. Look for any paper debris or ink that may have spilled during the refill.
- Gently try to remove the cartridge: Try wiggling the cartridge gently side to side while pulling it out. If it doesn't come out immediately, don’t force it as it could damage the printer or cartridge.
- Release the latch (if applicable): Some models have a latch or locking mechanism to secure the cartridge in place. Check the user manual to see if your printer has a mechanism like this, and make sure it’s fully released before trying again.
- Look for any tabs or locks that could be in the way: There may be a protective tab or locking clip still in place that’s preventing the cartridge from being removed. Ensure these are fully removed before proceeding.
- Use a soft tool for leverage: If the cartridge is stuck due to tightness or friction, use a non-abrasive tool (like a plastic card or a rubber grip) to help you gently nudge the cartridge out.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
