Have a HP Envy Photo 7858 and purchased HP cartridges 303 which is compatible with Photo Envy Photo 7800 series. Unfortunately was advised incorrectly by the retailer as it turns out I need a HP 64.
Retailer won't take it back as the cartridges have been opened and told me to contact HP directly. The cartridges have been opened but are brand new and unused (printer wouldn't take them due to incompatibility). Cartridges are dated 2027/05/06 for the black one and 2027/05/03 for the Tricolor one.
Any recourse HP can offer in this situation?
Thanks

Adding some context as I understand it might still be Printer being locked to regionalization. Printer was purchased in the U.S. but have now moved to Europe. Understand it might be possible to use 303 in my printer after a 'Regionalization' reset?
