Hi, I would need my printer hp envy 4500 to be reset region as well. I moved from USA to India. Hence the request.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be glad to help you. Please note that HP Printers use different ink cartridges in different regions, and to use the ink cartridges sold in the current region, we need to change the region settings on the printer.

 

I request you to please get back to me with the following information, so that I can help you change the region settings on the printer.

 

Do you still have the ink cartridges for both regions

Do you have a printer USB cable?

Which OS is on the PC? Is it Windows or Mac?

Do you have the printer's full feature software and drivers installed on your PC?

Yes, I have cartridges from both regions.

Do you have a printer USB cable?

Yes, I have the USB cable

Which OS is on the PC? Is it Windows or Mac?

This is Windows PC

Do you have the printer's full feature software and drivers installed on your PC?

Yes, I have the hp tool installed .
