I am having same issue with my OfficeJet Pro 8600. Bought in US and only used in the US, worked fine after replacing setup cartridges w/genuine HP cartridges until those were depleted. Unbeknownst to me, the replacement were z20 so now it won't accept these new z10 cartridges and haven't been able to use printer in over a year due to running in circles trying to get help before finally finding this is an issue many are having. Can you please assist me with resolution? Thank you!

I'd like to help!
The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP HP Support Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
