Hi @Decorator,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To check the ink levels on an HP OfficeJet Pro 8035e printer and determine if any ink cartridges are low, you can follow these steps.

  • Turn on your printer and ensure it's connected to your computer or the network.
  • Load plain, white paper into the main input tray.
  • On the printer's control panel (the screen on the printer itself), you'll see a touch screen or a set of buttons. Use the touch screen or buttons to navigate through the menu.
  • Find and select the "Ink Levels" or "Estimated Ink Levels" option. The exact wording may vary slightly depending on your printer's firmware.
  • The printer will display the current ink levels for each of the installed ink cartridges. Typically, you'll see a visual representation of each cartridge's ink level, such as a bar graph or a percentage.
  • Check the ink levels to see if any cartridges are low or need replacement. If a cartridge is low, it's a good idea to have a replacement cartridge on hand to avoid running out of ink during a print job.
  • If you need to replace an ink cartridge, follow the instructions provided in the printer's manual or on the screen to access and replace the cartridge. Make sure to use genuine HP ink cartridges for the best results.

Keep in mind that some HP printers also offer the option to receive ink level notifications through the HP Smart app or HP printer software on your computer. You can set up these notifications to alert you when ink levels are low.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
