Hi, I purchased an HP2723 deskjet recently. 15th Jan 2024

I set up the printer as soon as it was delivered to me on 16th Jan 2024.

After completing the setup, I realized that it wasn't printing in black and white, and immediately called HP customer care and tried to do some troubleshooting over a one-way video call, but were not able to get any results, at which point the HP representative arranged a technician visit to diagnose the problem. The Case ID for the same is BVLR341501

On 19th Jan 2024, the technician came to my place and upon inspection, deduced that the BW cartridge was faulty and gave me a report stating the same issue and asked me to visit the nearest HP service centre which is at Lamington Road, Mumbai. India
On 25th Jan 2024, I visited the service center and handed over the faulty BW cartridge along with the report given to me by the technician. I was asked to follow up on Monday 29th Jan, 2024.
On 29th Jan 2024 (Monday) I was told that the ink cartridge was empty and that they could not provide me with any service for that nor a replacement. Upon asking for an adequate resolution for my problems, I was told to buy a new printer, (which was a horrible attitude of the representative at the service center) I then tried to escalate this issue with the Service head at HP via email.
On 30th Jan 2024, the service head wrote back to me stating that the cartridge was a demo (not setup but demo) and I would have to buy a Brand new cartridge. they are not willing to accept the fact that I received a faulty cartridge.
Please help someone, This is either a scam being run by the HP company or they are not willing to accept the fact that their parts are faulty.
P.S. Even if I end up buying a new cartridge, there is no guarantee that the printer is running fine, as I didn't have a working 805 black ink cartridge to complete my setup process.
