The ink cartridge ran out for the first time and I pulled out my subscription box (HP Instant Ink) of ink I received a while ago to replace them.  However they are the wrong size (larger than the original) and I can fit them in the printer but it gives me an error code E0 which I looked up and says you have the wrong ink cartridge. 

Black & Tri Color cartridges that came with the printer: 67XL 

Black & Tri Color cartridges that came from Instant Ink:  67/305

 

I hope HP can remedy this by sending me the correct ink cartridges for my printer.

This YouTube link doesn't help fix the problem. My printer is still giving me an error code and won't print with the cartridges you sent me. Can I get a refund or be sent the correct cartridges please?

I am sorry to hear that the above steps did not help much but i do appreciate your efforts in performing the troubleshooting steps.

 

To validate your instant ink subscription and help you get the order placed for replacement ink, we need some information related to instant ink account. This information cannot be shared on a public post.

Thank you for sharing the above information but I see that your printer is not active in instant ink service.

 

You will have to enroll in the service again if it was cancelled to receive instant ink cartridges for your printer.

You still sent me the wrong ink cartridges when I was enrolled in the service! I'd like to receive the correct ink cartridges that I already paid for.

Hi @Knappy1,

 

When you cancel the service:

  • You can continue printing with Instant Ink supplies until the end of your current billing cycle.
  • At the end of the billing cycle, you must remove Instant Ink cartridges and purchase Original HP Ink or Toner directly from the retailer of your choice to continue printing. Instant Ink cartridges only work in enrolled printers.
  • Your final monthly charge comes at the end of the billing cycle.

 

Note: HP Instant Ink is based on the pages you print, not cartridges or shipments you receive.
