Product: HP DeskJet 2722 All-in-One Printer

Im willing to use refilled cartridges refilled myself and take full responsibility for this.  I cant go on keep buying cartridges every week.  Its a question asked a lot on here but never seems to get answered.  So how do i reset the printer to accept refilled cartridges.  I know all about insta ink but its too expensive.  Any HP tech people able to give straight forward instructions on how to reset the printer to accept the cartridges.  Its working out cheaper for me to send my work away to be printed professionally,  i thought all manufacturers had to allow for their cartridges to be refilled. Thanks for any help
