OK, I'll try this again. The first entry disappeared.
I have owned an HP Envy 7640 for many years and decided to try refilling the cartridge with aftermarket ink. It worked fine for a bit and then the printer said the cartridge has been used past expected life cycle or something like that. After reminding me about this a few times it started going haywire. Lines on the screen, screen going blue and displaying an error code B84952B0 which relates to carriage problems, flashing lights saying printer problems turn off then on to reset. You can then print a page or two but it will go back to one of the three errors listed above.
My question is, if I put an Original HP ink cartridge in will it return to normal? I don't want to pay fifty buck for cartridges to find out that this is a permanent bug.
