I purchased two ink cartridges from Walmart (61XL  black & 61XL color). My husband purchased the black and has lost the receipt. I do have the receipt for the color cartridge. WM Customer Service stated that since unopened I would have to go through you directly. Please assist.

Hi @Mu123

Welcome to the HP Support Community! Thanks for posting your query!

We're here to help you get back up and running.

Thank you for reaching out, and I appreciate you sharing the details so far. I understand how important it is to get this sorted, especially when you’ve already tried working with the retailer. I’ll do my best to guide you through the next steps.

To better understand the situation and determine how we can assist you, could you please help me with a few more details:

  • What is the exact model number of your HP printer?
  • Are both cartridges (61XL black and 61XL tri-color) compatible with your printer model?
  • Is there any visible damage or tampering on the packaging?
  • Are you looking to return, exchange, or report a problem with the black cartridge?
  • Have you attempted to use the black cartridge, or is it completely unused?

Once I have this information, I’ll be able to guide you more precisely.

Regards,

Hawks_Eye
