HP LaserJet Pro MFP M428fdw

I need help to do a region reset on my MFP M428fdw which originally shipped with a 59A toner, but the local agents have not had OEM replacement cartridges for over a year, and I bought an OEM 58A which is region locked on a recent trip abroad. 

 

I am aware and understand that a region change can only be done once, but would appreciate your help change the region so my home printer can be useful again.

May I know where you are located now?

  

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.  

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

To perform a printer region reset you need to meet the following conditions: 

  

1. You need to have the printer full feature software installed on your computer. 

2. You need to have all the cartridges either from the region/country from where the printer was purchased originally or the new region/country to which you want to reset it to. 

3. Make sure HP Smart App is installed too.
