Region code change for HP Color LaserJet MFP M283fdw

I need to change region code for my HP Color LaserJet MFP M283fdw, because I have a 207x toner cartridge but it says it only uses 206x

Changing the region code on an HP Color LaserJet MFP M283fdw is not something that can be done directly by users. To assist you with the regional reset for your HP Color LaserJet MFP M283fdw, could you please confirm the following details:

• Which region or country did you originally purchase or use the printer in?
• Which region or country are you currently located in, and trying to use the printer now?

To perform a printer region reset, you need to meet the following conditions:
 

1. The printer should be connected using a printer USB cable to the computer.

2. You need to have the printer's full feature software installed on your computer.

3. You need to have all the cartridges either from the region/country from where the printer was purchased originally, or the new region/country to which you want to reset it.

4. Make sure the HP Smart App is installed too.

The printer is from Asia region. We are located in Turkey and we want to use the printer in here.

Everything is ready to change the region of the printer.

We understand that you are currently using an HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M283fdw originally manufactured for the Asia region, and you would like to use it in Turkey with locally available toner cartridges.
 

Please note that HP LaserJet printers, including the M283fdw model, are designed with region-specific firmware that is configured at the time of manufacturing. This firmware determines the toner cartridge compatibility based on the region in which the printer was originally sold.
 

Unlike HP inkjet printers, toner-based LaserJet printers do not support regional resets. This means that once a LaserJet printer is configured for a specific region, it can only use toner cartridges designated for that region. Attempting to use toner cartridges from a different region (e.g., EMEA cartridges in an Asia-region printer) will result in a "Supply Incompatible" or similar error.

Please let us know if you are using the Asia region Toner or the Turkey Toner.
