HP OfficeJet Pro 8022 All-in-One Printer

Hello - I purchased my HP OfficeJet Pro 8022 printer in the UK several years ago. I've now moved to the US, and found from the HP AI Assistant that the US cartridges that match my device are the 910 series (rather than the 912 from the UK). I purchased the HP-branded 910s from Staples and I'm receiving an 'incompatible cartridges error'. I tried changing my region in printer preferences, doing a hard reset, updating the firmware, etc, but none of this has worked. Is it possible to perform a region reset please?
