Region reset use 964 instead of 962

I was wondering if there is a way to region reset my HP office jet pro 9015 so I can use 964 ink cartridge instead of 962. I bought and installed an original HP 964 cartridge but I get a message saying it is incompatible. Thanks Vini

Hi Vini,

Are you located in the US as listed?

The printer uses HP 962 cartridges in North America, 964 cartridges are intended for Latin America.

You may reset a printer to a different region after moving your printer from one county to another, to use the locally supported ink cartridges, you cannot reset a printer located in one country to use ink cartridges intended for a different country, you would need to contact the local HP Support in your country to reset a printer for this country:

Thanks. I was living in the US but now I am living in Mexico. The printer takes 962 cartridge, but this is not available for sale here in Mexico. I read that the 964 is similar to 962 and is intended for use in Latin America. I bought a few original HP 964 cartridges  but the printer does not work. It says they are incompatible. What should I do? Looking forward to hearing from you.
