Thanks for the update, you’re very close to getting this resolved.
When Instant Ink shows “cancellation in progress," it means the request has been initiated, but the printer is still temporarily linked to the previous account until the system fully processes the cancellation.
Here’s what you can do next:
- Wait for the cancellation to complete, this usually finalizes at the end of the current billing cycle, but in some cases it may complete sooner.
- Once completed, the printer will be automatically released from the Instant Ink account.
- After that, you’ll be able to:
- Register the printer in Mexico
- Enroll in Instant Ink (Mexico)
- Receive compatible cartridges and resume printing normally.
