Hi - I have moved from the UK to Belize and recently purchased a new original HP Black cartridge for my printer from the US.

When inserting I get a message 'Incompatible Black cartridge'

 

I believe I have to change my Region setting from UK to US?

How do I do this please?

Many thanks for coming back. Your solution was the correct one!

Actually I lucked out as, for a long time there have been no MFP 477 series printer drivers for Windows 11. Then when the problem with the cartridge arose I checked the HP website and found windows 11 driver package available.

After downloading this everything worked great.

When I look at the Webpage for the printer it still shows UK but everything is working so fingers crossed.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

 

If you move to a different country we need to perform a regional reset in order to make the printer work in the new region. I will surely help you with the Regional reset.

 

1. The printer should be connected using a printer USB cable to the computer.

2. You need to have the printer full feature software installed on your computer.

3. You need to have all the cartridges either from the region/country from where the printer was purchased originally or the new region/country to which you want to reset it to.

4. Make sure HP Smart App is installed too.
