Hello everyone,
I recently bought an HP DeskJet 2620 printer in Dubai which came with the default 123 ink cartridges. I’m currently in London for my studies and, based on the HP website my understanding, the 304 cartridges are the standard for the UK. After purchasing a double pack of original 304 cartridges, my printer indicates that they’re not compatible.
I’ve connected the printer to my Windows PC via USB and have the required software installed. I reached out to HP Support, and we’ve been discussing the possibility of a regional reset to address the issue. However, the responses have been somewhat delayed, and I’m in urgent need to print some documents.
Has anyone faced a similar issue or knows of a quicker solution? Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance,
Tarek

Hello,
I wanted to provide an update regarding the regional cartridge compatibility issue I was facing with my HP DeskJet 2620. After reaching out to HP’s phone support, the solution was to perform a regionalization on the printer.
This successfully resolved the compatibility issue I was experiencing between the 123 cartridges and the 304 cartridges.
I would like to extend a special thanks to HP’s technical support team for their assistance in resolving this matter.
If anyone else facing a similar problem in the future, consider exploring the regionalization process with HP’s support. However, make sure that you have purchased the correct cartridge number first.
I hope this solution proves helpful to someone else.
