Regional Reset needed for HP OfficeJet Pro 8024 bought in the UK to use in Hong Kong

Hello all, I bought HP OfficeJet Pro 8024 All-in-One in the UK and have since moved in Hong Kong.

I tried enrolling for HP Insta Ink in Hong Kong but my UK-bought printer was deemed ineligible.

I understand even cartridges I buy from shops in HK will not work in my printer unless I do something called a "regional reset". I read in this forum that this resetting is printer specific and I would request HP experts to kindly share the instructions relevant to my printer. So I can use it in Hong Kong.

I'd like to help!

I understand you moved, and the printer is not accepting the new region cartridges.

We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.

The reset instructions are specific to your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
