I just moved from the US to UK and brought my OfficeJet Pro 8020 (model 8028, product number 3UC64A). I can only buy UK ink cartridges here, so I think I need to re-regionalise my printer. The HP site keeps saying it is down when I try to add the product to my account. Can anyone help with how I can switch my printer to UK so I can continue using it?

Hi @oopy493,
Welcome to the HP Support Community
I'd like to help!
I understand you moved, and the printer is not accepting the new region cartridges.
We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.
The reset instructions are specific to your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Hi, I've replied to four different Private Message threads, and you keep saying that I haven't responded. I've also confirmed there that I am looking for instructions for regionalising my printer from US to UK, and I have the USB cable and ink and am using Windows 11
