HP OFFICEJET PRO 8710 ALL IN ONE PRINTER

Dear Team,

I am using the HP OFFICEJET PRO 8710 Printer. I had bought this printer from UAE and am currently using this printer in India. I now have to replace the cartridges due to the Original HP 953 being currently used in the printer being depleted. The HP 953 Cartridge is not available in India and instead the Indian Version of the HP 953 , the HP 955 is available in India. This HP 955 is compatible with the Indian Version of the printer.Hence to use the HP 955 Cartridge I would need to perform 'Regionalization Reset' on my printer so that I can change the Region of my printer from UAE to INDIA.Doing this will make the printer accept the HP 955 cartridges instead of showing the incompatible cartridge error.Would request HP tech support team to help me out in this and provide me with necessary steps.

P.S- CONTACTED HP INDIA TEAM AND THEY DIDNT KNOW HOW TO DO 'Regionalization Reset'.

Thanks and Regards,

Bilal

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Yes, we'll have to do a region reset.

To do a printer region reset you need to meet the following conditions:

1. The printer should be connected using a printer USB cable to the computer.

2. You need to have the printer full feature software installed on your computer. Also, let us know the Operating System installed on your Computer.

3. You need to have all the cartridges either from the region from where the printer was purchased originally or the new region to which you want to reset it to.

Please do let us know.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the "Accept as solution" button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Thanks!

Have a great day!
