Hi, I bought my printer in the USA from Amazon in 2016 and now it does not want to accept US Cartridges, only z20. So I need instructions on how to change the region from z20 to z10. I hope someone can help me because at this point my printer is useless. Thanks.

Hi @alanbr,
I'd like to help!
We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.
The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

We have this same issue with our Office Jet 8600. Bought new round of ink and it says it’s the wrong region. I haven’t moved apparently we’ve been using Asian ink the whole time. Now we have North American ink and it’s not compatible. Super annoying!

I would like to do a region reset. I wrote HP support two days ago and they have not answered. I am trying here hoping I get an answer. I own am HP TangoX. My cartridges from the US no longer work.
1. What cartridge number do I have to buy here to make my printer work?
2. How do I do a region reset to Lima Peru.
Thanks,

May I know where the printer purchased and where is it being used?
